Yesterday’s horrific events at the Capitol do not represent who we are as America.
The inauguration of @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris will mark a new day for the American people — focused on healing our nation, bringing our country together, and building back better.
We are confident in our security partners and @JCCIC, who have spent months planning for this historic event, and are working with them to ensure the utmost safety and security.
We look forward to January 20 when our country and the world witness a peaceful transition of power.

Please have the inauguration virtually. Even the capitol police n security cant be trusted unless thorough investigation and psych evaluation has been done. Anyone and everyone may be compromised at this point
The Congress hosts the Inauguration. You should address your concerns to the Speaker of the House and the soon-to-be Majority Leader.
I respectfully disagree. This IS who we are — it’s just that we choose not to acknowledge that this is who we are.
I saw video of rioters yesterday saying they would be back on Jan. 20. Please please be safe.
Aside from the inauguration, Biden owes people of color a massive debt. Let’s see more black people in high profile positions of power.
I have serious concerns. Please reconsider all aspects of the inauguration and safety measures.
