Building community starts with local heroes. Winston Chiu is one of them.

  2. Fox News reporting that the Buffalo shooter acted as a “lone wolf” fails to acknowledge what we all know — which is that white supremacy is the litmus test of Trump and his MAGA cult.

NEW: A government official told ⁦⁩ that the semiautomatic gun the gunman used in the shooting had “the N-word” spelled out in white paint on the barrel and the number 14, a symbol popular among white supremacists.

Elise Stefanik may as well be an actress — she’s spent years trying to undermine and dismantle New York’s SAFE ACT (Secure Ammunition and Firearms Act) for political points.

You’re just as bad as the hate spewing MAGA Republicans who can’t see past their own fat egos to have an ounce of dignity. Have some goddamn respect for the moment, for the families, for the community of Buffalo.

The DC consultant class apparently wants candidates to stop talking about Roe being overturned. They claim voters only care about “pocketbook” & “kitchen table” issues. As a progressive Dem that’s knocked a lot of doors in a rural/red state...that cannot be more wrong... 🧵

Yesterday, the Senate passed my bill, the NY Cruelty Free Cosmetics Act, to prevent the sale of cosmetics tested on animals. Despite decades of public outcry –– animal testing remains in use. The Assembly must pass this bill so NY can help end this practice once and for all.
