  1. A Eurasian Wren [Troglodytes troglodytes] is widespread across the world. A full migrant species that are often found single. Seen two individuals today morning.

  2. Rusty-flanked Treecreeper [ Certhia nipalensis] usually feed on arthropods. Forage mostly by scaling tree trunks/branches and often seen flocking with other species.

  3. Eurasian Magpie [ pica pica ]. Its widespread in many countries, yet it's found in only few pockets in Bhutan. They are locally revered and protected especially by local communities in central part of Bhutan.

    This is a specimen of an Abrolhos Painted Button-Quail . It’s the 5th most likely to become extinct bird in Australia. This individual is from a population that may now be extinct. Next week I’ll be starting a collaborative project on this species. Stay tuned.
