Good news for COVID-19 Long Haulers and CFS patients: after a long wait and extensive preparations, today we started our first set of experiments to see if COVID-19 has a direct effect on mitochondria and if HHV-6 is a potential mediator in this process. Fingers crossed.

Im divided here. On one hand i hope it pans out and gives insight into the mechanisms that disregulate our body into the ME/CFS state. On the other hand i shudder to think of the thounsands that are now descending into this hellish existence if it turns out Covid can cause ME/CFS
