Did you check the IRQs were right? the colour palette for Fatal Racing was messing up and I had to swap my Cirrus Logic graphics card because it conflicted with my SB 32 AWE
Well, it says IRQ5 on the box, and I never really knew what it meant so went with that. 5 or 7 always worked!

I loved my Gravis Ultrasound! It's right up there with the 3DFX as my favourite PC hardware. Upgrading the memory chips, using higher quality soundbanks, trying out MT-32 emulation in Monkey Island 2..... great days.
Sounds like bliss! I was making do with FM synth back then.
I had one of those, but I found that the graphics were a bit ‘blocky’
