    I think we often lose perspective and feel that everything must be in the algorithm. I would recommend to old fashion method of just asking the human -- I know I am just pointing out the obvious here -- binging the Human and their preferences in to the loop often brings clarity.

    the colors are amazing --

    Botanical encyclopedia "Honzouzufu" (本草図譜: 1828) from Edo period, total 96 volumes are online. The book set contains over 2000 types of plants. Only vol. 5 to 10 were sold regularly. Other volumes were printed-on-demand type so they are very rare.

    Elsevier (major publishing company) had a profit margin of 37% in 2018 -> higher than Apple, Google or Amazon - and revenue of £2.54 billion in 2018. And academics continue to provide the content, do peer review voluntarily & their universities pay to subscribe to these journals.
