Last week’s episode of #FindingCleo made me feel uplifted. Today’s had the opposite effect. So many tragedies in that young girl’s life, so many people who used her, so few who fought for her. And so many others whose stories are similar.

My haircut and color was so on point yesterday that a six year old thought I was wearing a wig.

I finally got to see @HamiltonMusical, if only in my dreams. I thought the scene where they attacked Arya Stark was weird, but it was cool they had real descendants of the founding fathers pass out candy after the show. If anyone could make that work, it’s @Lin_Manuel. #hamilton

I can’t help thinking about the day a lady at the pool told me the girl and her sisters looked just like me. Maybe she knew something I didn’t. (Or maybe she just noticed a bunch of blue-eyed blondes.)

Today, @23andMe told me I have a distant cousin DNA match with the same name of a girl I used to babysit. I grew up in a small town, so it’s possible, but wow, what a weird story that would be.

My three year old asked me to read “Abrakedabra” tonight. We have no such book, so I asked what that was, and she told me, “It’s what you say when someone has the best costume.” Okay. #ToddlerLife #toddlermom #mommylife

But now, I see teenagers literally fighting for their lives and being told they don’t matter. This is the worst. I hate that they have to fight. But these are the people on the right side of history. They are the best of all of us. (3) #marchforourlives #neveragain
