In the heyday of electric trams in London, Kensington did not have a single inch of tramway. Campaigners claimed trams would bring an “undesirable” class of person. About 85 yrs later, Kensington’s thinly veiled prejudice is still here; it hasn’t a single inch of safe cycleway.
