First thing on which I’ve disagreed with you Betty. Handing out a trillion dollars of tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy, then later proposing cuts to Social Security and Medicaid to fund it is neither kind hearted nor honorable.
I believe your praise is misplaced. Ryan has failed to respond responsibly and perform his duty to lead the house as a coequal branch and check on the executive. That is not policy disagreement. He now has a unique opportunity to correct course - I am not hopeful.
