None of the safeguards of our judicial system apply to the arbitration process. No real judge, no jury, & no right to appeal. It’s a closed process, allowing businesses to avoid accountability for disputes involving sexual harassment, discrimination, & unsafe work conditions.
I was proud to vote today for the #FAIRAct, which eliminates the false choice Americans are currently subjected to, & restores the private arbitration system to its original intent – providing a *voluntary* alternative process for resolving disputes & restoring access to justice.
