The census was established to numerate *every* person living in each state, citizen or not. Federal money is allotted based on this overall count. A family of undocumented parents with US children will not fill out this form in fear of deportation, resulting in a huge undercount.

Please explain why being counted as a citizen is racist. I need to understand. Also explain why having voter ID is racist. Also explain why letting criminals currently in jail and illegal aliens the right to vote is the correct thing to do.

Betty’s post does state illegal or people in prison can vote. It supports having an accurate count for the census.
