Dedicated EPA employees work hard every day to protect human health & our environment. They’re the defenders of our clean air & clean water. Sadly, the president’s budget completely fails to support the EPA’s mission. The American people deserve better.

This 31% cut is the largest proposed cut to any cabinet-level agency. From slashing important research funding, to cutting programs that limit lead exposure in our homes and schools, to funding clean water infrastructure for Indian Country – these cuts harm Americans.

We know EPA staff had concerns about the proposed PolyMet mining project in MN – but they weren’t made public. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and just leaves us with more questions. Minnesotans deserve to know the EPA’s concerns.
