This is a scam to get you to give up your intellectual property for free. Have some pride and don’t give your work away, as it is the Government already gets about 1/2 of your earnings, why give them 100%?

So no one should ever enter any kind of creative contest because of the possibility of someone extorting it? What a cynical and counterproductive view. Most contests like this have some sort of agreement to sign. People can read that and if they don't feel it's safe, not enter.
