Would we still be allowed to fish and hunt on the land? Or are you for restricting those I know some would love to push no hunting and fishing.
I strongly oppose the Emmer amendment, which would prevent the Forest Service and the DOI from protecting our nation’s most visited wilderness area – the BWCA. Some land is too precious to mine, and I urge my colleagues to join me in protecting this national treasure.

Rep McMcollum is referring to an amendment that would single out the Superior National Forest as undeserving of funds to protect it from sulfide-ore copper mining. Wilderness is always open to hunting and fishing and she has never opposed hunting or fishing.

The BWCA is not the most visited wilderness area. Ely is dying because tourism doesn’t support an economy there.. the proposed mine is not in the BWCA. how can anyone take you serious when you constantly lie like this?
