IMO, it would be better for the country get more qualified people at higher wages than what we currently have in DC. The amount of stupidity in DC is at a all time high hell even pay interns a solid wage than what we have now.
I am offering an amendment to prevent raises for high-level political appointees of the Trump admin. Too many American families are seeing stagnant wages; the last thing we should do is reward the admin’s corrupt political appointees like @EPAScottPruitt with more taxpayer money.
