@Betterment it appears the tax proposals in Congress eliminates the ability to do Tax Loss Harvesting. Can you comment on that and whether youd lower your management cost if that feature is no longer allowed?
Hi Olivier - We're following the proposal closely (https://www.betterment.com/resources/inside-betterment/gop-tax-plan-fifo/ …) and will be ready to comply with any necessary changes. There will still be opportunities to harvest losses and we're always looking for additional opportunities to minimize taxes.
