@Betterment Why does it take you ONE DAY to take my money but it takes a WEEK for you to pay me my money?
We execute trades for your withdrawal the business day that we receive the request. Next, there is a 2-day industry standard settlement period during which we cannot transfer the funds. Following settlement, the ACH transmittal of funds to your bank account takes 1-2 days. (2/2).

Well thanks for the standard answer. I find it off in 2020 that there is still a two day settlement. It’s an excuse for brokerage houses to hold on to our money for longer. It’s funny it always takes longer for the consumer to get their money than it does for you guys.
