Robo-advisors are great in theory. Until you have a question about your account on their platform, no one answers your initial call so you have to request to be called back, and multiple days later you still haven't heard anything in response.

It’s not my Betterment account. We’re trying to reach out with a client on their behalf because the platform has been so unhelpful when they’ve called on their own. When your human advisor has to straighten out your robo’s problems, it’s defeating the purpose
