Ryan - Adding to the above, with the launch of checking, when you roll off the waitlist and get your Betterment Everyday Checking account, you will be able to direct deposit.

Today, a transfer from investing to savings (if you're doing the smart saver conversion in app, for instance) would take 2-5 business days. Much of that is securities settlement time.
