What happened in Minnesota on Monday was not an "officer-involved death." Mr. Floyd was killed by a police officer in cold blood while begging for his life on camera. That is what happened. To protect a racist murderer within bureaucratic doublespeak is cowardly and shameful.

The late night host for my local public radio (a black person) was emotional in describing Floyd as being "intentionally murdered" by the police. I was suprised to hear this allowed to be broadcast, but it was 4am...
