Tara Reade’s allegation against Joe Biden deserves a full investigation, as does Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's assault allegation against Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
To grant Tara Reade’s claim any less respect than we granted Ford’s is to abandon our credibility as a party, our integrity as leaders, and our responsibility as human beings to listen to all survivors of sexual violence.

All of them need to be adjudicated. Both parties deserve actual justice from an actual justice department, not trial by publicity.
Betsy, I am curious if you have ideas abt a more survivor centered adjudication process, and also process for vetting candidates earlier. This reminds me of Cumberland County DA race. I’m wishing for an entirely different process but can’t quite envision what’s possible.
I am also watching Mrs. America and wonder what could be put into Dem party platform to more explicitly create ethical code around preventing and responding to sexual harassment - it is a problem through electoral politics, as it is everywhere.

Thank you! This isn’t rocket science or advanced social theory. It’s basic decency and justice. Party loyalists need to get their heads out of their asses! I don’t want to suffer 4 more years of Trump because they’ve pushed Biden through and ignored this.
