The owner in question is a Harvard grad who hires five people at this location, one of her three total, the most recent of which was funded through acquisitions by one of her tech companies.

There’s lots of great media sources out there!
@democracynow comes right to mind for instance. But you’re right. When huge monied interests own a say in an outlet’s coverage, that coverage is immediately compromised. It’s the sad truth of so much corporate media in our country.
