Today Maine’s major newspaper owner announced they would no longer publish print editions. It’s a way to save costs.. among them the rising cost of health insurance for employees. Time for Medicare for all! #MedicareForAll #mepolitics

As a practical person I do wish politicians would focus their energy on reducing costs, from 1. The obesity and drug addiction epidemics to 2. The actual costs of care that are out of control. Writing a blank check for everyone to be on Medicare is not the solution.

I lived in Sweden for half a year. The difference there is as much as their government cares about health care they care about healthy life styles from diet to exercise its influenced directly as a personal responsibility to look after yourself. We are missing that entirely.
