Redistribution of tax income. We already spend about $2 billion per month in Afghanistan alone. Bring the troops home, and save that $. Also- we pay billions $ in subsidies to the oil companies. That $ would be used for renewables instead.

It's very reasonable actually. It's just moving the $ we spend on the fossil fuel industry into the renewable energy sector. Renewables already create more jobs than FF. If we cut subsidies and change where that $ goes everyone benefits.

The polling I've seen tells the opposite, in regards to M4A, it's all about how the question is framed. Plus Tulsi's plan would let anyone keep private insurance who wants to.

We had just reason for going to Afghanistan, but we've been there for nearly 20 years now... longer than any other occupation. The fact that we're still spending billions of $ there every single month is ridiculous. We need to get out and be done.

Part of Tulsi's plan is to use that $ given to oil companies as subsides and invest in new technology. The fact of the matter is we as a country can't rely on coal, oil and gas forever... we gotta make the change eventually.
