It’s unreal how routine things like the Gilroy shooting have become. I tried to remember the last mass shooting, and I couldn’t. It was Virginia Beach in May. 13 people died. My thoughts go to the victims in Gilroy. And I promise them, when I’m in the Senate, we will take action.

I grew up in San Bernardino and in Corona. I went to grad school in Monterey and live in Poway now. During the move (from ME to CA) we were in Toronto. So within five years 5 mass shootings in places close to me. Im not sure what to say right now...

Personally my circle is fine. But that’s a drop in the pond. My husband reminded me we were in Toronto for that shooting (how the F do you forget that??!!) Like I said...there’s nothing to say. Our actions must speak louder than empty words.
