There's no one more important to a student's education than a great teacher. Great teachers need to be supported, should be better compensated and should be treated as professionals. Interesting. My wife has been teaching for almost 30 years. While lack of support and pay is true, forcing her in to a box is way off base. But then she doesn't teach in a failing Michigan charter school.

Majority of U.S. teachers don’t believe in your vision. Your statements that you support teacher does not align to your actions or your person/professional background in education. Your actions support a partisan agenda no matter how you frame it.

Frankly teachers are tired of wealthy individuals buying influence to change education policies that meet their agenda. When was the last time a teacher was asked out solutions on a national stage?
