No. She removed decency from the conversation and damages humanity every day that she maintains this position for which she is unqualified. No passes on ANYTHING. If you smile while strangling someone to death, do you get a free pass??

Not sure who you think she is strangling to death, but you may want to check your facts on the “unqualified” piece. Despite common rhetoric, she actually has more education experience than several other Secretaries of Ed that have preceded her.

Shirley Hufstedler (Carter’s Sec of Ed) - was a judge, Bill Bennett (Reagan) - lawyer, Richard Riley (Clinton) - law partner & political activist...

DeVos - worked for 15 years as an in-school mentor for at-risk kids in a public school, she founded & helped lead a successful technical school, started several scholarship programs, sat on numerous education boards, & spent her adult life & fortune donating to education causes.

There are good & bad schools of all tax statuses (for-profits, non-profits, & publics), so not sure your point or it’s relevancy to topic at hand. The question was whether She was qualified. I gave factual list (not fallacy) of her experience and compared a couple prior Ed Secs.

I’d try to explain, but I don’t have “understanding reality for three year olds”. I lost that book last week. Maybe go to your local library?
