All the more reason that it is vital we oppose measures to cut social security. We must safeguard the benefits Texans have worked their entire lives to earn and ensure they exist for our kids' generation too.

Social security is a joke. It is so low there is nothing left to cut. I guess they could make people live at 50% below the poverty line because right now they are being paid at 25% below the line. Beto again we need your help to fix this problem Go Beto Go.

Raise the threshold. I paid Soc sec tax on 100% of my income for 50 yrs. Why should a millionaire pay on only their first $128,000 of income? They quit paying in February. They shouldn’t get a break they should pay on 100% of their income too
