That’s not how programming works though. Im not sure about other devs but I prototype my newer things and then brainstorm more efficient ways to do them and do the best one. It’s not a lack of effort by any means.

True! I think I remember doing something that took a long time, then the whole thing got erased, which means I had to do everything from scratch, but I realized that the newer version was better than the old one, and I found out better ways to reach my goal!
