  2. Just a reminder of how corrupt and immoral the LNP are.

  3. I can’t believe that Aboriginal people had to show a “permission slip” to be away from their community. The treatment of ATSI people back then was disgusting, but it’s not much better these days when you consider the Indue card, deaths in custody, native title being extinguished.

  4. I’m completely with on this. The LNP has been bought and makes its policies for Murdoch and the fossil fuel industry. ‘Open to corruption': Jacqui Lambie plans to end flow of 'dark money' to political parties

  5. God this government STINKS! It’s corrupt at every level, and doesn’t even hide it. Scott Morrison invited sailing club to apply for $8,000 grant for BBQ facilities, staffer then encouraged members to 'vote Liberal' via

  7. Wow. Even Boris Johnson says we must do something to fight climate change. Our idiotic, coal loving government is completely stifling our innovation and growth for their personal greed. A better government would embrace science, embrace technology, and make us world leaders.

I keep recommending this by Dr Richard Alley of Penn State. He makes the science simple but shows all the forcing factors. Concludes CO2 is the biggest issue and AGW is driving change at too rapid a pace. Please view and retweet.

  11. Matt Canavan: “We have become the party of workers, workers in coalmines, workers in shipyards and workers in factories”. Straight from the donkey’s mouth, the Nationals show they are no longer for farmers & agriculture, but coal mines & destruction.

  12. Hey comrades, old fella Rik here has thrown out a challenge to prove climate change is man-made. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Tbh, he isn’t worth our time or energy.

Right wing coal lovers believe every word of climate change, they choose to lie in order to continue helping donors. They clearly don’t care about the future at all. Politics today are only about the term of office, & anything beyond that isn’t their problem.

The insurance industry certainly isn’t listening to climate naysayers. The irony will be that deniers will find themselves as financially affected by change as anyone else. Nothing like a hit in the hip pocket to snap you into reality!

"I've had two years to reflect on my faults … I believe I'm in a better position to go forward." Phew! ... it's okay folks - this shambolic bloke has turned over a new leaf.

  18. I’ve spoken to a few people who attended the climate rally at PH. What stands out most is the diversity of the people who attended. Business people. Mums & dads. ‘Quiet Australians’. This man and his friends apparently came up from Melb to attend.

  19. Great thread by . 👇🏻 Climate change is not a ‘greenie’ or ‘leftie’ issue. Bushfires & drought don’t just affect people who believe in climate change. The far-right conservatives (LNP & their supporters) will also feel the effects.

  20. Remember the tweet I shared by Oliver Trymble, who was trying to get word out about his town (Uralla) running out of water? His call for help was eventually heard by the gov and some measures have been put in place to help in the short-term. Let’s hope long-term, too.
