Sinatra’s classic 1990 letter to LA Times--“The tragedy of fame is when no one shows up and you’re singing to the cleaning lady in some empty joint that hasn’t seen a paying customer since Saint Swithin’s Day”:pic.twitter.com/xLlW8DDN85

It's DR. Vinnie Boombatz and he's Rodney Dangerfeld's personal physician. 😀

Here in North Tahoe Sinatra is known for building a casino on the lake so his African-American friends and their families could actually enjoy the amenities where they were working. At the time, both in Vegas and LA, black performers were not allowed in the pool areas.

I have mixed feelings about this letter. Some people can’t handle fame fortune as well as others. It’s sound advice, when your not a tortured soul.

Remember when Martin Scorsese was going to make a movie about Sinatra? What was he thinking?? Sinatra didn't even understand the CONCEPT of personal demons. "And no more talk about 'the tragedy of fame.'"

SINATRA had no concept of demons? The boozing, womanizing, bipolar, mafia-connected Sinatra?
