I had that @TIME magazine cover on my bedroom wall. I was a freshman in high school in Cleveland. It breaks my heart when I think what a great, healing POTUS Bobby could have been.
Andy Warhol?
Roy Lichtenstein, I believe.
Thanks it had that late 60s pop-art look to it
It’s refreshing to discuss such topics in the face of current events.
Not an art expert by no means but I did care for 10,000 pieces of art assigned to the USAF some confiscated from the Nazis
I will top that: I write about the regulation & history of insurance & it’s regulation in the US. Lots of Barons of Risk use policyholder funds to buy “pretty things.” Thanks for your service to our country.
Hahha I guess we all have our niche I write about Black aviation, women's aviation & Japanese-American History my books are in a race to being the most obscure on http://amazon.com :)
imagine where we'd be now if he had lived to become president
I lived a few blocks from the hotel where he was shot. It was very inspiring to hear him speak. We went to bed that night happy and exhilarated, and woke up to the horror and tragedy of what happened, and the horrid waiting until he died. He would have been a great president.
I often wonder, how would America have looked today had RFK lived? Better and fairer for sure..
Wow this would be a month before his death. This cover is still painful to see. It expresses such hope and determination that would be shattered just one month later.
Just watched the Netflix Doc on him really well done
Just finished the documentary on Netflix about him. What an amazing President he could have been. He truly had a compassionate heart and wanted to make a difference.
The second time I saw my Daddy truly weep. I will never forget what he and I talked about as he sobbed and held my Mamma close. I was in Florida in elementary school. My Dad was a 21 year veteran when he retired. God I'm glad he isn't here to have to see this mess trumps made.
