Reminder: domestic CIA political assassinations can narrow the political dialogue accessible to the majority of the population, thereby leading to "the political center" moving incrementally rightward over time as corporations alone determine what news reaches enough to matter.

Look at that. A POTUS & First Lady, fully dressed after 8 p.m., monitoring a situation of national import. I miss having a President that cared - no matter their reason for caring.

jackson used to be loved by the democrats, that why all their big dinners are called “jefferson-jackson”. hell, lincoln also took his insperation to fight the confederacy based on Jackson’s action during the nullification crisis. There’s a lot of grey in american history.

Interesting fact regarding Jackson..he was first person to win the popular vote and lose the election when he didn't get a majority or electoral college..House of Reps chose John Q Adams

Very interesting picture. Lack of emotion seemingly but the room is filled with conflicting thoughts with one exception the others are thinking about their next move

Ironic that a portrait of anti-abolitionist Andrew Jackson hangs over the row of televisions broadcasting the news of Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination.
