Today more than ever before, “What if they didn’t die?” What would this world look like if JFK served 2 terms? What if Bobby won in 68?

If he JFK survived, there would still have been a Vietnam plus there is now way he could have passed a civil rights/great society package as strong as LBJ’s, since LBJ was one of the most effective legislators in US history.

Am confused, why was he in the Cabinet Room , when in ‘68 he was Sen. Kennedy of NY and not Attorney General. Just wondering.

Long story short, yes he was a Senator at the time but LBJ called the meeting in the name of Democratic Party unity..he also met with McCarthy a few hours later..at that meeting when McCarthy asked about RFK the President made a throat slashing motion..

I'm way to young to have experienced any of this but the 50 yr anniversaries, the pictures, the promise gone. It hurts my heart.

And only one contestant got the correct answer of the Department he led, the DOJ. We need to teach history better in this country.

First words out of his mouth after being shot: "Is everybody okay?" This man would have made a GREAT president.

I was eight years old, when he died. I remember it, although I was in Melbourne Australia. I remember the photograph. What a loss to the world.
