And today a racist son of Selma, Alabama is our AG, a racist demagogue our President. Deep shame America.

Even though there was so much harm happening, Dr. King would not promote harm in return. That's not to say he ever surrendered or backed down. When I march I follow his amazing example of non violence, persistence & having a clear message. Fight & defend what you believe in.

#MLK50Forward#MLK

I remember watching the news that night! Family all around. Aghast! Then I remember RFK’s speech that held back a tide of anger & GREIF in the moment!

History, huh?

It hurts to wonder what might have been without the deaths of Rev. King and John & Bobby Kennedy. During that time of acute despair, we never could have foreseen that we'd now have this illegitimate president & donor owned GOP congress. I'm relieved my parents can't see this.

King, the bravest man to ever preach and protest in America. Everyday of his adult life lived knowing the threat of assassination & racist violence would be directed toward him. What if they had LIVED? Re-experiencing the 60’s is not something I relish. From Viet Nam to MLK & RFK it was all pretty ugly. (Worked on Bobby’s Presidential campaign in HS. The end was DEVASTSTING)

Dr. King was the best orator of the century. I'll never forget the day he died. Our Navy chaplain called all together to pray for Reverend King. A lot of tears that day from hard Corps Marines
