This so reminds me of the anti Vietnam War movement when college kids ran the table. Now it's high school students who have seen a different kind of bloodshed.

I can't see myself in the photo, but I was there :-) I envy today's young marchers, not only for the memories they'll have for the rest of their lives, but also for the feeling that they held the moral ground for all of us & that they were on the right side of history & Democracy

As an old man from this era, I so admire the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam veterans and the activism of today's students.

Happy to see new generations taking up the job. Paying attention and getting involved keeps the government honest. Vote, vote in every election so your voice is heard loud and clear.

Well, looks like this
#MarchForOurLives
doubled it. And so did the Women's March in January 2017.
Things are changing.
Maybe this country finally found its nausea point again, thanks to Trump, the NRA and the GOP.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I was there. Coldest I've ever been. Some of us were yelling, "Freeze for Peace." We tried to change things, just like the students who are marching today. Best of luck to them.

My first march was 6 months later, following May 4 shootings at Kent State. We left high school and hit the streets. So proud of today’s high schoolers.

There were more for the first Women's March and I predict there will be more today. And when you count in the marches around the country, today will be historic.

I was in that March, it was good to see some kids so involved. This has been a very apathetic, self involved society.

I walked out of my high school protesting the Vietnam war and proudly support these students today.

Thank you for reminding us. I was a college student in Iowa then, and I took part in the Moratorium in October of 1969. Marching and demonstrating/rallying is so important when one feels strongly about an issue.
