        I don't think so. Einstein was Jewish; they'd have killed him. All Einstein did for the bomb was sign a letter, not much more than that. http://www.doug-long.com/einstein.htm

        "Einstein contributed nothing to working out how this might be achieved — except once, when he signed his name on someone else’s letter to get some political wheels in motion." The Nazi's would have killed him, regardless of talent, as with other Jewish thinkers.

        Those who answer? No, I think it meant less then, as trade, education, politics, military were all considered separate and less interference was allowed. His name was a mere signature, though, there were many others, he's might not even have been noticed at the time.
