I remember my 6th-grade teacher Mr. Ciotti brought that album to class and played the song for us, stressing the lyrics, "People talking without speaking People hearing without listening" and that society -and we kids- needed to do better in understanding and relating to others.

I saw Simon & Garfunkel in concert in 1968--April 1. I remember meeting Paul Simon at the stage door as we were leaving the venue (a theatre in the round), and someone asked where Art was. Paul said, "He's throwing up backstage." I said it was nice to meet him & he asked me why.

Going to see Paul Simon in Seattle in May. Last time I saw him was in 1973, Carnegie Hall. This is his final tour. I feel pretty old now.

The same studio that produced many classics, including Miles Davis' "Kind of Blue" album. Sadly, the studio doesn't exist anymore.
