This is the America that, quite frankly, scares me to death.

I wonder if those dreamers interned in camps, waiting to be shipped to some country they hardly remember are allowed to play baseball before they leave?

If we’re discussing internment camps we should point out that many Japanese Americans never had their property returned to them after being released from the camps when the war ended.

Ansel Adams was not pleased about taking those photographs. I understand he did it to record this for the future.

Such a shameful part of our history based on fear and ignorance. Now we have a person leading this country stoking the same craziness for Hispanics and Muslims. I hope we can come out of this darkness soon

The boxing one is picturing the eternal struggle- consider it a metaphor- the other boxer is your demons you face every day. Dogs Playing Poker? They’re dogs and they’re playing poker. No other explanation is needed lol.

My stepfather was a japanese american interned as a child with his immigrant parents. When I knew him he worked at JPL as an actual rocket scientist. He died prematurely & the ME said he had the brain of someone 30 years older. He was the kindest man I ever met.
