        Great picture, @BeschlossDC. My only qualm about its authenticity is that TR's birthplace is on 20th Street in NYC -- not a major crosstown thoroughfare -- and this is not that house, which is a row/townhouse. Was he viewing from a friend's place on 23rd Street?

        It was his grandfather's house, on 13th and Broadway. Today the Roosevelt Building is located in the same spot.http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/13/realestate/13scap.html …
