        One-third empty? Out of over 100,000 seat stadium? That means about 63,000 or so attended? Not bad for the first Superbowl. I believe TWO networks broadcast it too. I watched it with my Dad. Not this year though.

        Combined drafting began in 1968 which helped the Jets and Chiefs improve their rosters.... The prevoius rival league in 1950 was the All-American Conference.. It was absorbed in the NHL with only the Browns, 49'ers and Colts being accepted..

        The first two where called the AFL-NFL World Chamionship Game..The two leagues didn't actually merge until 1970. The AFL was going to broken up with only a few of the best teams merging with the NFL Same as AAC.. But, after the Jets and Chief wins all 8 AFL teams were accepted..
