        Col. Nolde died a few hours before the 1973 peace accords were signed, but I think "last official casualty" should be in quotes and reference made to the many US military casualties which followed, including 22-yr. old Cpl. Charles McMahon, KIA, 1975. I went to his funeral, 1976.
