Is it just me or does that poster seem kind of insensitive? Seems like that poster is implying you better not screw up or it will be your fault if someone dies.

Actually there were similar type signs at McDonnel Aircraft when making the F4's for VietNam. Was not "sensitive" at all. Tolerances were in micro meters,etc. If you did not do your job correctly, people(pilots especially) did die. Different time.

I believe it was Pete Conrad who used to take delight in reminding his fellow astronauts, “You know every piece of this craft was built by the lowest bidder.” Having those low bidders remind their employees of the importance of the work seems pretty wise.
