That's a pretty powerful cartoon. Living in Ireland for the past 40 years has been rough at times but looking in on the USA today is 10 x worse. Sorry if that offends you...
It doesn't offend me it the least. You are correct, our country is becoming unrecognizable to most of us. Wish us luck. And just as an aside, I have a niece who lives in County Cork.
Thanks Carrie. Crazy times in your country indeed. Hopefully it gets better soon. I'm at the other end of Ireland, Belfast. Cork is a fine place.
You've seen some major political changes in the last year as well. I've kind of forgotten to check on how things have been going since McGuiness died, I usually try & keep up but with Trump it's hard to pay attention to anything else. Who is 1st Minister & 2nd Minister now?
Lol.... there aren't any. Political vacuum since the assembly was brought down. Civil servants are running the show. The everyday people just get on with it but our once health and education services are suffering badly.
Remain calm, pull it like a weed. Maintain focus on the long game. Words matter. Image matters.
This is one of the saddest photos I’ve ever seen
Over 50 years ago we had such great hopes for the future. Now, we can only hope that there is a future.
I knew you'd come up with a compelling historical photo. Enjoy you on @maddow
Still a Dream.
Do we know the whereabouts of Trump's father that night?
Thank you Michael for showing us the past and how far we have come and reminding us how far we still must go.
are those family photos Michael?
TERRORISM.
A hero for every generation
14 unarmed peaceful Irish Civil Rights protest marchers murdered by the British Army's infamous Parachute regiment on 30th January 1972.
Lest We Forget.
