Wow, looks like they could be filming a scene from "Mad Men" down there.

Interesting as the state of the art 50 years ago, Kodak, in that location is now replaced by the state of the art, Apple. What will it be 50 years from now?

Wow! I now walk through GCT every day. Signs and Merrill Lynch booth are gone. But this is the station as I remember it from my childhood.

I haven't been to NYC since about that time. This is how I remember it. What does it look like now?

It looks very similar, but that rectangular structure no longer exists. The terminal had a beautiful renovation in the 90’s, in which they added an originally planned east staircase, cleaned the gorgeous ceiling and removed fake ceilings. It’s stunning.

Love this photo. Which is the east side of the terminal? Is it the side that goes to Campbell's Apartment or the other side? This photo looks towards the opposite side from Camp's apartment, no?

Yes, this is the east side of the terminal, where the Apple store is now. The Campbell Apt is on the west. I remember when that Kodak Colorama was there. It’s much nicer with the matching staircase!

Thanks. I remember the Kodak display, as well. It was there a long time, I think. Need a photo of the ceiling, next.

So much better since they completed the east side staircase.
