This one is better suited to be a coconspirator . . . whether indicted or unindicted.
Sessions is definitely a co-conspirator, which is precisely why Trump was so anxious for him not to recuse (figured a co-conspirator wd have personal incentive to shut down the investigation).
But note what he did. He immediately sent Sessions out to actively obstruct--getting dirt into the press, telling Rosenstein to justify firing him. SO he tied his continued freedom to Trump's success.
Exactly. He's made the same 'devil's bargain' that the GOP leadership has made: ignore DJT's glaring unfitness and the danger it poses to the country in exchange for near term freedom of action.
Josiah Bartlett famously feuded with his AG. Of course, that was in the more reality-based West Wing, as opposed to this sh*tshow.
That was the most disturbing quote to me from the NY Times interview last week. The notion that the AG's job is to protect the President.pic.twitter.com/AvREgfs17S
His understanding of things in government is like a person who listens but doesn't understand the language, so it's useless.
So explain what AG Lynch was doing on the tarmac with Bill Clinton days before his wife (Presidential candidate) had FBI interview. Just talking grandkids?
When you have the mentality of a dictator you think everyone should protect you.
“Where’s my Roy Cohn?” is the new “Pray with me, Henry”
You can’t be serious
Apparently neither Trump nor Sessions was aware of that.
Just ask John Mitchell. (or ya know what I mean)
Hey thanks!
Attorney General’s job is to protect me (We The People) from the President and all other lawlessness.
