This was so into the 20th century. In ‘92 I watched a photo session with a man I interviewed who was born in 1900. When the camera came out, his face froze & he slowed his gestures ‘til they were tortoiselike.
Personal grooming left a lot to be desired, for sure lol. Thanks Michael!
