        Pres. Hoover did not attend. He was 89 at the time, and in declining health. Two of his sons went to the funeral on his behalf.

        Ikr was pissed because Truman fired his old boss Dougout Doug MacArthur. Ikr refused to meet Harry in the Oval Office before his inauguration. It was ugly.
