I was 11 years old during that tragic period & remember feeling stunned. I couldn’t understand hatred of that magnitude. Like most Americans we were never the same after losing our president, MLK & Bobby Kennedy. It was a frightening time.

People who weren't there will never understand how shocked we were when this took place. We were so naive back then. Shootings & bombings were not on the news each night. Look at the security around pres. cars & trips today. Mostly because of 11/22. It was so sad.
