Even in that pic you can tell he was a million miles away, heartbroken. Tragic.

I will never forget that day. I was 8 years old, & remember the principal coming in to class in tears, whispering to our teacher. Then, we were told that class was dismissed & we were all to go straight home. We all knew something serious had happened. Such a tragic day.

Similar to my experience...I was 10 years old, and the rest of the story is virtually identical to yours.

RIP Bobby

Like others, won't Like this posting, but thank you very much for your historical perspective. it is very much needed and appreciated in this era when humanist values are no longer aspired towards.

It’s still inconceivable to me that a low life like Lee Oswald could single handily change the course of American history. But that’s just what he did, there was no conspiracy. It was a horrible alignment of motive, opportunity and really bad luck (weather).
-
Elaborate on weather?
-
Well from what I’ve read and seen from pictures, President Kennedy spoke at an event earlier that day in Ft Worth and there was rain. I’m not sure what the forecast was for Dallas that day, but there could’ve been a different outcome had there been rain in Dallas also.

Robert Kennedy is the reason America has an anti nepotism law under U.S. Code Title 5!!! A LAW that the criminal President Trump HAS violated and IS violating STILL!!!!! Al Capone went to prison for tax evasion NOT murder!!!!!
-
And at least Bobby was qualified and competent, and had US interests at heart.
-
I agree. I'm just pointing out that Trump is violating a law that was enacted to prevent him from doing what he's doing.
